The Foundation’s main project is the Tajamar school. From its beginnings, in 1958, it was born with the idea of offering high quality education to young people from Vallecas, the neighborhood where it originated, although later the educational work grew.
\nIn fact, many national and international initiatives have been developed to which Tajamar passed on its experience, such as the Xabec Training Center (Valencia)<\/a>; Eastlands College of Technology in Nairobi (Kenya)<\/a>; the Centro Educacional da Pedreira in Sao Paulo (Brazil)<\/a>; or Banilad Center for Professional Development<\/a> in Manila (Philippines).<\/p>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=”1\/2″ css=”.vc_custom_1709809321816{background-color: #eb681e !important;}” el_id=”jovenes”]

Youth education, the future<\/span><\/div>[vc_column_text el_class=”pad-right-30″]The Foundation’s proposal is to help young people develop values through sports and outdoor activities.<\/p>\n

Family<\/span><\/div>
Support for the parents' task<\/span><\/div>[vc_column_text el_class=”pad-right-30″]The task that corresponds to parents in education is the key to the future welfare and social integration of their children.
\nActions that the Foundation carries out for the benefit of families:<\/p>\n

  • Family precepting<\/strong>, i.e., closeness, communication, guidance, attention to each family to guide them in the task of educating their children.<\/li>\n
  • Family education<\/strong>: the way of teaching the courses to the families is based on the case method. Sharing experiences with other families proves to be a very beneficial method.<\/li>\n
  • Education in values:<\/strong> as children grow up, they are confronted with situations that are new to them. Parents must help them find answers that reaffirm the values they believe in.<\/li>\n
